A couple of things on Amateur Licencing that have come up.

1. VK2FSJE, VK2FGAZ and I sat our regulations exam today and we all passed with flying colours (common regs for Standard and Advanced licences)

2. I sat the Standard theory today and passed - yippee :) The only anticlimax to it all is that I now have to wait for the paperwork to go through - but time for me now to get studying for the Advanced exam.

3. We have had a bit of interest lately regarding people wanting to sit their Foundation Licence exam. I am in the process of organising such a weekend with the Orange and District club. The examiners from there are more than happy to come over to Bathurst for an examination weekend. It also looks like I have a suitable venue to use as well :). If you are interested in sitting for your Foundation Licence pop me an email, and I can put you on the list and we can get the weekend organised.

A quick thanks to those that helped me study and generally just get prepared for the exam. I did find the cram course from http://www.radioelectronicschool.net/ most useful and would recommend this to others wanting to sit their regs / standard theory.
