Well, there has been quite a bit of local activity amateur radio related of late. A group of locals went up Mt Panorama the other day for a BBQ and some field portable work. Had some good contacts, including with me whilst I am in Antarctica as VK0BP. I am glad there is still fun with field portable.
Additonal to that field portable work, a number of locals had some fun with the 80m Tran Tasman last weekend, including Ingrid VK2FLWR. Congrats on your first contest - look forward to hearing you on the air for more.
